Join the great energy of Team United’s passionate league, and experience a dynamic culture that will give you every opportunity to excel – in any position in the organization. We are always looking for new Players, Referees, Non-Skating Officials (NSOs), and Volunteer Staff. If you are 18 years or older and have a willingness to learn, WE WANT YOU!
At Team United Roller Derby, our team becomes a family, and that shows both on and off the track. We all share a passion for sports and athletics and our community – striving to reach our full potential. As a volunteer organization, no matter what your role at Team United, you’ll find a group of people that you look forward to seeing at practice or events.
If you’ve never been on skates before, or if it’s been a few years, we have plenty of teammates and refs that would be happy to share their experiences on how they got started.
Non-Skate Officials (NSOs)
Anyone can be an NSO – regardless of gender. NSOs assist the Referees by tracking scores, penalties and timing of a roller derby bout (aka game). Training to be an NSO is brief – you’ll be ready to participate as an NSO in no time!
Love to skate, but don’t necessarily want to ‘take the hits’? Anyone can be a Referee!
Team United Player
Send us an email, we’ll get in touch with you – ready to answer all your questions. We’ll teach you everything you’ll need to know about becoming a Team United Skater, what it feels like to be part of a close-knit team atmosphere and volunteer at local community charity events.
